Who We Are
Mithila Sanskritik Parishad Hyderabad - Secunderabad is a non - profit and non - political organization registered under Society Act (Registration No#: 3480/1992) with special focus on conducting Mithila's cultural programmes, popularize Maithili literature and making all citizens aware of Mithila heritages. The society came in existence in year 1992 by great endevour of a group of dedicated Maithils.
Emergence of MSP
The concept of MSP just came in minds by a group of Maithils in a family get - together in late seventies in presence of Tej Narayan Jha, Munindra Mishra, Chandra Nath Mishra, Yudh Narayan Pathak, Firan Jha and Goverdhan Thakur. At this stage, they were only involved with some small get – together for exchanging their thoughts.
Gradually it took a good shape in early nineties in presence of some terrific Maithils namely Sri Satish Chandra Jha, Sri Goverdhan Thakur, Sri Yudh Narayan Pathak, Munindra Mishra, Chandra Nath Mishra, Firan Jha, Divakar Jha, K. K. Thakur, Bhavkant Jha, K. K. Jha, Amarnath Jha, Binod Mishra, and Tript Narayan Jha.
Later in the year 1992, Mithila Sanskritik Parishad Hyderabad – Secunderabad got registered under Society Act with Andhra Pradesh Government. Along with this role and responsibilities were also distributed among dedicated Maithil personalities namely Sri Satish Chandra Jha as Founder President, Srimati Maithili Thakur as Vice - President, Sri Bhav Kant Jha as General Secretary, Sri Divakar jha as Treasurer, Sri Vishambhar Jha as Secretary. MSP would have not attained this height if dedication and courage were not contributed by Sri Amaranth Jha, Sri Binod Mishra, Sri Firan Jha, Sri Sattan Jha, Sri Sanjog Thakur and all Maithils.
